The left subclavian artery branch arises quite dorsal of the aortic arch. Saccular
aneurysmatic expansion of the descending aorta directly distal to the origin of the left
subclavian artery. |

From ventral, the following vessels arise from th aortic arch:
Right common carotid with discrete origin of the left external carotid, left subclavian artery
and right subclavian artery. |
